Atlanta is full of gems, both within the city and in areas surrounding the city. Sope Creek is definitely one of those gems, featuring old paper mill ruins and a beautiful flowing creek. A fellow photographer put out a call wanting to explore the area & looking for  company, so of course I decided to join in. I had been to Sope Creek before, but hadn't gotten the chance to explore it fully. I was excited that we were able to climb through the ruins, hike on the trails, and snap some beautiful photographs along the way. I even lost my footing, busted my butt, and got a little muddy at one point; the scenery was so worth it though. I can't wait to return to Sope Creek with a couple and take them through the area for a beautiful engagement session.
